My Progress – 11 month report
Babies are so enraptured by the world around them. You’ll be surprised by how quickly they will notice tiny but potentially dangerous hazards, especially now that they’re trying to walk. Do have another look around the house to see if there’s anything you may have missed earlier - e.g. dangling cords, power sockets, sharp-edged kitchen gadgets etc.
GREEN – great progress
BLUE – in progress..
RED – No progress yet..
What your child might do:
Physically and mentally
• Drinks easily from a cup
• Knows that small things can fit into larger ones
• Pushes, throws, knocks down everything in sight
• Sits more confidently; able to pull self up and sit again
• Walks while holding onto your fingers
Language and emotions
• Says “mama” and “dada” and knows what they mean
• Babbling develops into intonations of language
• May say other words and know their meaning tooIdeal toys for this age
• Pushing and pulling toys
• Fix-together toys
• Colourful containers and items to put in and removeUseful tips
Baby walkers have received a bad rap from child development experts for years. Experts believe that not only are walkers dangerous, they are also not very effective to begin with.
Family Outing – Bugis Junction (Stitch)
It was advertised on paper recently that there shall be a Stitch icon appearing at Bugis Junction. Stitch was mummy’s favourite cartoon creature. Basically, we have this cute creature as dolls, bedsheet, blanket, pillows, towels, T-shirts, jigsaw puzzles, etc!! Luckily, I was not born to look like Stitch. HAHA!
Stitch is quite common in Hong Kong. The HK Disneyland has a small zone for it. The show was really fun. We hope that this creature will be popular in Singaore. And since it is here for the next few weeks, here we COME!!!
WOH!!! Didn’t expect the icon to be so BIG! And it does look ORIGINAL! I meant, it wasn’t like they were trying to “redesign” the creature and became un-alike to the one shown in movie.
Cool! Nice shot with mummy and myself.
Daddy: “HEY BB!!" Are you so bored to take pictures with Daddy?!!”
I always got engrossed on moving water
Booth selling some Stitch stuff. In the end, we didn’t get anything from store. Maybe we just have everything already!!

Wild Wild Wet
Reached grandmother’s house. My cousins are all waiting for us. Striking a pose before we head to Wild Wild Wet.
The free ticket includes coke, chicken burger and a packet of apples, from Mac Donalds.
While they were having their lunch, I was sleeping then. (as always…) It was raining, so what did you expect me to do??
Everybody was enjoying their lunch together.
Packet of apples from Mac Donalds
The rain had stopped! SWIMMING TIME!! We were at the wave pool.
Can you find me?? I am ready for the wave!!
The wave is HERE!!! OK, it didn’t look strong enough. You may blame the camera man, or simply because we are already situated close to the coast, and the wave will have died off by then.
Daddy, cousin Vernice and ME!!
Cousin Chloe! SAY CHEESE!!
Cousin Venus! SMILE!! I say….. SMILE!!!
The kids have lots of fun with the slides!
