Vaccination - 07 Feb '2010

Together with Daddy and Mummy, we visited Dr Soh clinic for my 6-in-1 vaccination. This is my first time having vaccination, so daddy took a video of the session.

Oh, it was an instant pain followed by....... high-pitch orchestra that eventually settled for a very short moment. Catch the video LIVE!

Shortly thereafter, I was placed under grandma's great care, while daddy and mummy went...... SHOPPING???!!! Okk...... Daddy and mummy were taking some time off to grab any new clothes for the upcoming Chinese New Year! :-)

It was around 0830pm, when they finally returned to fetch me. At home, while having milk session around 10pm, mummy realised that I was "sexier" and 'hotter" than ever. Out came the thermometer.... 37.4 degree celius.... It's a slight fever, that was likely due to the morning vaccination... And out came the cooling pad and INTO my forehead :p (luckily, they bought it during their shopping).

Over that night, I simply woke daddy up (daddy was on "night duty") for 3 times for milk session. The frequency was more than normal days. Fortunately, daddy was very patient with me. I saw his smile during my feeding session. Apparently, he was happy that I was able to finish the milk and my fever did subside. I guessed he was more than happier that my frequent wake-up was due to milk call than the fever itself. :-)

This morning, out came the thermometer.... 36.5 degree celius. Ohh..... daddy happily went to work with mummy taking over, with satisfaction that what he had done over the night was worthwhile thereafter.

I am sure my immunity system is in place by now to fight again the vaccine, so that my daddy and mummy have a good time again!

My Poo Poo - Week 6

I am coming to 6th week old. On 27th Jan '2010, mummy brought me to see a GP doctor. I have not poo poo (pass motion loh) for the past 2 days and mummy is worried. Eventually, GP doctor gave a mild oral medication and some lotion to rub on my stomach.

Guess what, I finally pooed on that evening! But it had nothing to do with the medication. Ohhhhhh, daddy and mummy were VERY EXCITED, never see anybody (well.... ok.... my life is revolved around them only) so happy over a big mess of POO POO. They are sort of seeing the greatest moment to even took a picture out of it!

After that incident...waiting.. waiting... waiting... for the next poo.... The "tension" rose again. Daddy was discussing with mummy that if the next greatest moment of poo did not come, they would bring me to visit pediatrician on Saturday.

Guess what.... You are CORRECT! I pooed again after 6 days. It was not so much as the previous incident, but definitely it brought "JOY" to mummy again! She took pictures again! The following picture is NOT FOR THE HEART-FAINTED!!! I have WARNED YOU!!!

So for now, we are looking forward for the next poo poo!!!
