What a "GREAT" evening!

This morning, I had my milk session around 330am, complimentary served by mummy. Apparently, I may have slept too much during the day, and was full awake thereafter. Well, mummy thought she could just leave me alone with the lights off and I should dozed off eventually. However, it seemed such a "special" night for me and it was not going to work for me. I was making noise and kicking around before it became intolerable that daddy woke up, asked mummy to go to bed and he shall "settle" this issue PERSONALLY... Woh, daddy took over... scared..

Daddy closed the door and switched on the LED dim light besides me... We have a long eye contact and I was instantly quiet and still for a moment. Bingo, I got what I want (attention). On the other hand, daddy was stern and asking me why I was not sleeping in the middle of the night... followed by a smack on my thigh and hand....

It wasn't painful at all, and I giggled at my dad. Was that a bad move??!! Not really, dad's heart must be softened by my reaction and decided to carry me out of the cot and placed me on the rocker chair. Daddy was lying on the floor and trying to rock me to sleep, while I was fiddling with the toys hanging in front of me. It wasn't until 0430am that I felt sleepy again. Dad noticed that, and made 1 oz milk to "reward" me. I guess that was to put me to sleep easily... Well, daddy made the correct move, even though I didn't managed to finish the milk. I finally dozed off around 0450am, and daddy carried me over CAREFULLY back to baby cot. Yes, I was in deep sleep :-)

I feel that daddy loves me, and loves mummy a lot also. Daddy knows it can be tiring for mummy to cope with me whole day. Daddy wants to do many little things to ease mummy care on me. He feels all these little things are important for family bonding. He appreciates mummy for all the efforts. While he nags mummy occasionally for career search, he is also hoping mummy will have more free time with her new working life.

Daddy can be nasty over me sometimes, and he appreciates mummy for all the understanding without putting any blame on him. As for this evening, daddy was behaving well. Well, let's see his performance in near future. Meanwhile, I promise to be 乖乖 also :-)

Second Vaccination

On Sunday, 14 March '10 was my second vaccination. We arrived at Dr. Soh clinic around 1245pm, and got a "priority" to queue due to some "关系" with Dr. Soh. Firstly, I have the rotavirus oral medication. Dr. Soh said that the medication was not so terrible and based on his experience, most infants have no problem with that. Burp...... Look at the video... Apparently, I disliked it!!!

The session was followed by..... the 5-in-1 injection!!!!!!!!! Hmm... it was not as bad as the first vaccination. :-) Maybe mummy was gentle when grabbing on me :-)

Three days had passed. Mummy and Daddy should appreciate that I am still doing fine now. No worry, I am a strong girl. I have started to be more active, playing and smiling when adults are fiddling with me.

Note about Rotavirus
Almost all kids have had a rotavirus infection by the time they're 5 years old. Rotavirus is one of the most common causes of disrrhea, and severe infection (rotavirus gastroenteritis) is the leading cause of severe, dehydrating diarrhea in infants and young children.
