Celebrating Gong Gong’s Birthday

Fetching Aunt Terri and Gong Gong. Since aunt Terri was busy powdering her face and would take some time or maybe hours, we decided to wait at the void deck. Our plan was to fetch them at around 2pm before arriving at York Hotel for the High-Tea at 3pm. After our high-tea, we shopped at Takashimaya before heading home. Daddy got himself a perfume (or rather aunt Terri “bought” for him using voucher..)

HFMD - Nighmare

Got a fever on Monday evening. On Tuesday morning, daddy took an urgent leave to bring me to Kidslink Children Clinic at Jurong East.

Our specialist doctor is Dr. Heng Joo Teck. Very nice and patient person. Experienced enough to diagnose me immediately with HFMD…………. Oh my god….

It was a nightmare for my parents. I couldn’t eat, much as I would love to. I was selective on my food. I “disliked” my pacifier suddenly. I would take it out or attempt to put it back and cried. On first night, I woke up almost 4-5 times crying (probably in pain…) and it was not easy to put me back to sleep. It became a challenge to figure out what I really want.

Luckily, with much care from mummy and daddy, I was fully recovered after 2 days. Smile Daddy and mummy didn’t expect that, as Dr. Heng “warned” that they may have 4-5 sleepless night and got to be patient with me Smile with tongue out.

Sweet words from cousin Vernice

Cousin Vernice wrote me a card wishing me a Happy Children Day on 01 October 2010. So sweet of her to remember me, even if we seldom meet.

Cousin Vernice is 6 years old now.

Family Trip – Vivocity and RWS

Our first stop was at Vivocity. Hmm…. We didn’t expect to play on the water. But guess what? Looking at the pictures, I was really enjoying myself!DSCF1134

Apple Juice using Milk Bottle

Daddy and mummy was worried sick about me, after I had constipation.

Daddy decided to make apple juice and attempted to feed me using milk bottle. Usually, I consume the fruit by mummy “scratching” the fruit with a tiny spoon before the fruit slice goes into my little mouth :-)

Well, let’s take a look at the Apple Juice DIY procedure.

This “device’, that was bought from Korea, can divide an apple into 8 equal slices. Cool! So daddy “Aga aga” (estimated) that it may need 6 slices to fill up 120ml of milk bottle. (Or rather, he is leaving 2 slices for his own consumption??! “cheapskate”… 跟我争萍果。。) And he sliced the skin away. So 细心.. :-)

DSCF1129

Apple slices going to be “executed”… Ready…DSCF1122

GO!!! Argh…… After completion, the juice was quite thick. Definitely not for baby… So daddy will need to add some water and grind together.DSCF1123

DONE! Daddy fill up 120ml on the milk bottle first.DSCF1124

And I finished it within 5 minutes! The flow is smooth and I enjoyed it! Great job daddy! And I am asking for MORE! MORE! MORE!!DSCF1125

Round 2: 40ml. That’s the remainder juice from juice making.DSCF1126

DONE!!! That’s 160ml in total! That is more than my usual 120-130ml milk consumption. Look at the bottle, it is soooooo clean, no residue at all :-)DSCF1127

That’s me after the apple juice. Full satisfaction, no complaints at all. Time for my TV show :-)DSCF1128

National Day @ Marina Bay Sands

We booked 2 rooms for our family at Marina Bay Sands. The room was on 25th level and facing the CBD area.

Very disappointed with the check-in time. We have to wait till 5pm before we are allowed to check-in. And I can’t have a cosy place to sleep!!!DSCF0900

The big bath tub. I have to use it (under supervision only, OF COURSE!!)DSCF0904
